Macworld 2011
Macworld 2011 will be this upcoming January 26th through January 29th. With sessions ranging throughout the Mac OS X ecosystem there is surely going to be something for everyone. For those interesting in attending Macworld 2011, I will be there and presenting on a little bit of a different topic than what I usually talk about at Macworld: Home Automation. It’s not going to be a surprise to many of the https://krypted.com/ readers who have seen posts here and there about extending the capabilities of what your Macs can manage from the digital into the physical. This session will be a little bit of product awareness, a little bit of…

MacWorld Video
MacWorld put up the most awesome video ever, from a number of speakers that will be at the show. I don’t know how I missed the request for a little video but I didn’t even enter anything. Which is fine, ’cause anything I would have thought of wouldn’t have been nearly as awesome as all of these clips. Awesome going guys! http://www.macworldexpo.com

Kevin Smith at MacWorld?
Great. Now Kevin Smith is going to be speaking at MacWorld! Really?!?! How do you think my Collaboration Services session is gonna’ stack up to that? I guess it’s cool enough to make the email blast about Kevin Smith (very bottom, very small print, but heck it’s there – or wait, is that actually one of Arek’s – DAMN – oh, mine is right below Arek’s in even smaller print!!!), but am I now going to be this huge letdown, after him. I mean, I’ve never made a film for Prince! I’ve never directed a movie, much less one as great a cinematic treat as Mallrats! I never wrote something…

Publish Screencasts to Twitter
You can publish screencasts directly to your Twitter feed using screenr, a nice little website that is compatible with both Mac and Windows clients. It’s quick, easy and while it doesn’t have some of the more advanced features that a Podcast Producer type of solution would have it’s a great quick and easy solution for those getting started with screencasting!

Keynote & iPhone
For those that have not yet used it, the App Store has a little application called Keynote Remote, which can be used to control a slide deck that you’re going through. Once you’ve installed the application on your iPhone simply open it and click on the New Keynote Link… dialog (also in the Settings pane of the app on the iPhone). You’ll see a Passcode. Open Keynote, from the Keynote menu, click Properties, then click on the Remote icon in the Keynote Preferences toolbar. Then click on the check box to Enable iPhone and iPod touch Remotes, click on the remote you will be pairing to your Keynote installation and…

Speaking at MacSysAdmin 2009 in Sweden
MacSysAdmin 2009 will be held in the Burgårdens Konferenscenter in the center of Göteborg, Sweden. I’ve just been added to the roster of speakers, effectively bringing down the average Knowledge of speakers by at least 1d6. But I’ll try and keep ya’ entertained at the least. Hope you can make it and thanks to Tycho for the opportunity!
