Jessica Jones Coming To Netflix
As with Daredevil, Marvel is bringing Jessica Jones to Netflix. This one is a bit of a curiosity to me. I liked the story line, but I liked Luke Cage’s story much better. Either way, we get both in one. I’ll be interested to see if they strike into a New Avengers kind of line, like they did in the comics. My guess is that while I’ll enjoy it, I don’t think the series is likely to last long enough to need to jump the shark like they did in the comics…

Spy vs Spy: Star Wars Episode VII
If you watch, the new Kylo Ren character looks a bit like the black spy in Spy vs Spy. Could Episode VII be a remake of the fantastic cartoon, with he and Luke Skywalker lobbing bombs at one another? Or would that mean it’s Luke Skywalker lobbing bombs at himself? OMG, so excited about the best thing to happen to one of my favoritest franchises ever ever ever!

My Favorite Song
I remember the first time I stumbled across this. It was as though someone had opened the pantheon of movie gods from my younger years and run wild across my brain, picking them out in quick succession, placing them onto a page of lyrics, then setting them to music and putting them in front of a movie. The movie was full of references and I knew for the first time that I was not alone in one of my great and semi-secret loves: science fiction (not wanting of course to get branded a total nerd and shunned by girls/shoved in garbage cans as a teenager).
