I’m pretty sure this will be the first SCALE that I will not be attending or speaking at. I do wish I could go, but alas, timing is bad… But since I can’t go you should go. It’s a great little conference (although far bigger year in and year out). To Quote Them:

So we are encouraging the attendees of the Women in Open Source conference to bring a friend who is not currently a member of the FOSS community. This could be someone who might have an interest in Free and Open Source Software but does not know how to start, or believes that switching away from Windows is too difficult. We will have a limited supply of “Friends of FOSS Bundles” with various items to help people started with FLOSS.
