The book on the history of computers continues to get a little further and a little further along. Sometimes it can help to connect the influence or the time that something occurred to other macro trends in the industry. So I put together this little chart to help keep track of how operating systems, programming languages, processing hardware, and major events unfolded. There is some other scratch work in the Miro board that may or may not get baked into the larger graphs over time but thought this draft might be worth sharing in case any others have similar types of projects.
