You would be hard pressed to find another city that is as alive as New York city. Sure, the people are a little gruff and short, but they’re really soft and sweet on the inside. Love it here, but honestly I don’t think I’d want to live here…

On the Road: AAA
Did you know that your AAA card gives you a discount on bail bonds? I really, really hope this doesn’t help you in any way, shape or form. But if it does then, er, well, I don’t actually know what to say about that.

On The Road: Chicago
Chicago is a cool city. Windy, sure. But you already knew that. The thing I like about Chicago is that it’s a bastion of the industrial age that is slowly modernizing itself. Look at the view over the river at the rising Trump Tower while listening to the L and looking at the stone bridges over that river. It’s just an interesting sight to see it all together at once. Almost like looking at multiple eras in live action. And are the bars really able to sell beer until 4am?!?!

On the Road: US Air
OK, do they really suck that bad? I mean, on top of having a crappy service they also nickel and dime you by charging for 1 bag.

On the Road: Expense Reports
The quicker you turn them in the quicker you get your money back.

On the Road: Los Angeles
Having lived in LA for a decade every time I go back I try and hit at least one of a few different restaurants. The first is BOA, for the best steaks in LA. The second is the Pig on La Brea. The third is right up the road, a little hot dog stand called Pink’s (yes, I said hot dog). And finally, of course, In-n-Out, where you have to order up a “four by four animal style” at least once in your life…

On the Road: Memphis
When you’re in Memphis you have to get barbeque. I don’t care if it’s just in the airport, the barbeque in the airport there is better than they have in most cities…

On the Road: Atlanta
When you’re in Atlanta make sure to rent a car. There are a lot of cities you can do without one, but Atlanta is not one of them…

On the Road: Sun Country
OK folks. Let me tell you about something that I’ve never seen happen, ever in my travels. I’m taking a red eye from LAX on a Friday night, to Minneapolis. I’m on time for the flight, ready to go – but the flight isn’t there. No one at the gate. The airline desk is closed. Weird… Maybe Sun Country just sold me the ticket and I’m actually with a different airline. So call the Sun Country desk – at midnight on a Friday night – no answer. Weird. So call them again, this time an answer. But not good news. The flight was cancelled two days ago and Sun Country…
