Yup, more social media weird lists. If you’ve ever wondered what you have to do to get that one sticker on Foursq… er, Swarm, here goes: https://krypted.com//utilities/list-of-all-swarm-sticker/. A few things I’ve learned about these things: You get stickers if you check-in through third party apps that have API plug-ins to Swarm (such as Untappd). You get stickers if you check-in through the Foursquare app instead of Swarm. The distance limitation for stickers seems to be removed (so if your GPS picks you up a mile from a spot and you are checking in there, you’ll still get a sticker if appropriate). There are no more levels of stickers/badges like there were…

Copy OS Updates Between Apple Configurator Machines
One of the things that is awesome and sometimes frustrating about Apple Configurator is that when you do certain tasks, you end up updating the OS on devices. The reason this is awesome is that it allows you to centralize operations. The reason this can be frustrating is that if you’re on a limited bandwidth connection, you may find that you can’t do very basic tasks before downloading a large OS update. And if you’ve got a bunch of Apple Configurator workstations, and you are running a training session, this can get infinitely more annoying. In these types of lab environments, you’re in luck. If you have an ipsw (the iOS…

How Bushel Protects Customer Data
How secure is your data on Bushel? Your data on anything is only ever as secure as your password. At Bushel, we take a lot of precautions to protect your data, including from ourselves. We time out your session, we encrypt your session on a per-transaction basis, and we encrypt your data while at rest on our servers (although consider it like the secure enclave in iOS, where we encrypt the data that needs to be encrypted – such as FileVault keys and activation lock bypass information). These basic precautions keep your communication with Bushel secure and prevent people from doing things like hijacking your session. Read My Article On…

Bushel: Notes On Unlocking A Locked Device
We’ve all been there, or spoken with someone who’s been there: you’re looking at a locked device and someone doesn’t know the PIN to unlock the device. On an iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch a Mobile Device Management product such as Bushel can unlock that device by resetting the PIN and allowing you to configure a new PIN. It’s kinda’ awesome when someone forgets a PIN they assigned a device, leaves the company or just plain forgets. But, there are a few things we should probably mention about this feature of Bushel: Read More About Unlocking A Locked Device On The Bushel Blog

The next question we usually get is whether we know how that can be done. We do; however, we really don’t like the answer. Can Bushel Control The Screen Of My iPad?
