    Swiping Through Spam Like A Boss

    Who still says “like a boss?” I guess I did. Get over it. But don’t get over spam. Especially annoying are the ones we know we accidentally signed up for. Because it’s our own darn fault. But luckily, there’s a lot more tools for dealing with bulk mail (solicited or unsolicited) these days. Most modern email clients have the ability to deal with spam. Exchange/Office 365 has clutter and junk. You can build rules on sites. You can use spam assassin on your servers. But, there’s also a nice little app called unroll.me.     AppLoop Es Muerto

    Once upon a time, AppLoop made an RSS feed app on the fly for the iPhone, using your RSS feed, your icon and caching the feeds offline so the app would function when the iPhone or iPod Touch was not online. Regrettably they are no longer with us. Which is too bad ’cause it’s an interesting business plan and I look forward to seeing if someone else is actually able to make it work. If anyone is looking at firing up such a project (or is in the process of doing so) let me know.
