Ah, the memories. Nights in Jacksonville, getting ready for the “Worlds Largest Cocktail Party” – heading out to the game, usually too early to be up – but rallying to go – and then loosing our shirts to a team in the title race. It never got any easier. But today, we went out there, with all their hype and put up a 12 point win on the University of Florida. Ya’ll can have your Heisman – we’ll take one sweet victory at a time. Till next year…

Football: Beware the Tide!!!
Overtime? I thought the Tide’s glory days had left with Bear Bryant. Nick Saban, whether I hate it or not, is a solid football coach and a good recruiter. He almost knocked off UGA. We hung on to win in OT. But, beware next season. I thought they weren’t supposed to be good for a year or two… Look out SEC… Sucks for Georgia…

31-24, Georgia tops Hokies by one score. Not bad considering both have had rocky seasons. I was beginning to think our bowling days didn’t go so well (2002 vs. BC, then WVU). Richt isn’t exactly sucking against non-conference opponents…

15-12, Georgia over Tech. We did it and move to 8-4 regular season. Someone’s going bowling and it might just be the Bulldogs!

No game today. So must watch the other teams/conferences. Sad. From 5-0 to a bad downward spiral. But there’s always next season.

Just when you thought you’d be 500 going into the end of the season you pull out a win against the War Eagles. Georgia decisively beats Auburn 37-15.

Wildcats Beat Bulldogs
I’m stunned. We started the season 5-0 and in the past few weeks have dropped to 6-4. Richt has got to get things under control. Please, please, please don’t loose to tech. 🙁

Vandy Drops UGA
From 5-0 to 5-2 two weeks later is tough. Especially when your second loss comes from Vandy. That QB doesn’t look half bad, but I till hate to loose to the bottom of the conference…
