iMovie: Publishing Projects to YouTube
Using iMovie you can quickly and easily publish an edited movie (in the form of a project) to YouTube. To do so, from an iMove Project, click Share and then click on YouTube… At the YouTube window (seen here), enter your account name and password. Â Then select a Category. Â
Next, you’ll want to enter a description and any relevant tags for the movie and then select the size with which you would like to publish the video. Â Also, check the box for Make this movie private if you would not like to make it publicly accessible. Â If you choose to make a movie private then you will need to log into YouTube and then choose the (up to) 25 people with whom you would like to share the video. Â
Final note, this process isn’t always immediate. Â The movie will upload to YouTube or give you an error. Â If you don’t receive an error then give it a little time after the upload is complete in iMovie before it will show up.
