We have bought your book “Enterprise Mac Administrators Guide”. In Chapter 6 – Image Delivery, you advise to delete some files and folders, and among them the /var/db/krb5kdc folder. We have a corporate image with a user account pre-created. When we delete this folder and deploy the image to several computers, this folder (krb5kdc) is not created again. Only when we run the /usr/libexec/ConfigureLocalKDC things are getting normal again. Maybe we should not delete this folder, in our siituation (image with pre-created user account)?
Thanks in advance
Kostas
Note: Most imaging tools these days actually take care of all the KDC tasks for ya’.
